The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you techniques to avoid and manage problems and improve your confidence as a diver. During the course you’ll become a better buddy by enhancing your ability to identify potential problems and by practicing dive emergency protocols. The subject is serious but the training is fun.

Prerequisites: To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be:
– Be 12 years or older
– Be a PADI Adventure/Advanced Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
– Have completed the PADI Emergency First Response CPR and First Aid Course or similar, within the past two years

Required Gear:

• Standard scuba gear (Regulators, BCD, Weights, Tanks)
• PADI Rescue Slates
• Pocket Mask

Complete the comprehensive elearning course at your own pace – online or offline.

Time commitment: 8-12 hours​

PART II: PADI RESCUE DIVER PRACTICAL TRAINING 

Join your PADI Instructor for two fun-packed days of hands-on training scenarios designed to make you a better dive buddy, improve your confidence, and develop your emergency response skills.

EXTEND YOUR LEARNING: ADD EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER – $135

Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. PADI® Emergency Oxygen Provider prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen.

Adding Emergency Oxygen Provider to the PADI Rescue Diver course will teach you how and when to administer emergency oxygen. The additional eLearning and hands-on training teach you how to assemble an oxygen unit and administer oxygen.
