Charleston Tug – New Diver Charter July 3rd

Charleston Tug: Resting upright just off the coast of North Myrtle Beach lies a spectacular 130-foot tugboat artificial reef. Sitting in 62 feet of water with its superstructure rising to a shallow 30 feet, this site proudly boasts some of the most best inshore visibility in the area. The wreck has transformed into a bustling marine highway. As you explore the vessel, expect to encounter resident Grouper, schooling Barracudas, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Oyster Toad Fish, and Black Sea Bass, while sharp-eyed divers can spot tiny Gobies and the occasional hidden Octopus.
As a unique bonus, the dive also features an adjacent field of submerged Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) just waiting to be explored.
