SUMMARY:PADI Tec 45
DESCRIPTION:PADI TEC45\nThe PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You’ll extend your depth limit to 145 feet and learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder. It puts you in a complete tec diving rig\, which can be either backmount or sidemount. You’ll also make accelerated decompression dives using EANx or pure oxygen. This is a course where you’ll rise to the challenge and make the commitment to become a technical diver. \n \nPrerequisites \nTo enroll in the Tec 45 course\, you must: \n\nBe a PADI Tec 40 diver\nBe a PADI Rescue Diver\nHave a minimum of 50 logged dives\, with at least 12 dives on enriched air nitrox deeper than 60 feet and 6 dives deeper than 100 feet\nBe at least 18 years old\nHave a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months\n\n  \nRequirements\nYour Tec 45 training consists of three knowledge development sections\, three practical application sessions and four open water dives. Building on what you learned in the Tec 40 course\, you focus on the function and maintenance of tec diving equipment and associated issues. You continue fine-tuning gas planning and calculating accelerated decompression stops. Plus\, you learn to think like a technical diver. \nThe Scuba Gear You Use\nStudents MUST have their own Scuba Kit. \nYou’ll use full technical equipment\, which includes wings and doubles plus an additional deco cylinder\, or you may use a technical sidemount configuration. \nWhat is Included\nTuition for PADI Tec45 certification is : $510 this includes: \n\nPADI Digital Crew Pack (eLearning  Academics and materials)\nKnowledge Review Session with your Tec Instructor\n1 Day of Diving at Mystery Lake  (you are responsible for $25 park entry fee)\n 1 DIve Charter on Vermillion with your Instructor (you are responsible for DIve Charter Fee)\nIssuing of your PADI Tec45 eCard\n\n  \nClass Dates For Practical Training: \n\nFriday July 31st at Mystery lake and\nSaturday August 8th on Vermillion Dive charter.\n\nStudents are responsible for cost of Vermillion Dive Charter. \n  \n  \n\nIf you are having issues registering with our Paypal ticket system below\, \nPlease use this link to register for class. \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Discover the balance and efficiency of sidemount scuba diving with your PADI dive instructor. \nMany divers find sidemount tanks are more comfortable and easier to put on in the water. Sidemount diving is also beneficial for divers who want improved balance and prolonged dives. \nPrerequisites\nTo enroll in the Sidemount course\, you must be:\n– A PADI Open Water Diver\n– At least 15 years old \nRequirements\nThe Sidemount course consists of eLearnng knowledge development\, academic and equipment review with your instructor\,four training dives over two days. \nWhat you can expect to learn: \n\nGas management utilizing independent cylinders\nEquipment considerations\nCylinder options\nRegulator options\nBuoyancy compensator device (BCD)/harness options\nProper weighting\nEquipment configurations\nCommunication\nHand signals\nProblem solving\nGas-sharing\nGas hemorrhages\nWater entries\nS-Drills (specific to sidemount)\n\nSome of the required skills you will have to demonstrate include: \n\nPlan dive\nTest and check all equipment (depth gauges\, bottom timers/watches and computers)\nFamiliarization with area\nDescend to planed depth and not exceed any pre-planned limits\nDemonstrate the ability to safely manage gas in independent cylinders\nMonitor depth/time/air consumption\, figure all times on slate\nDemonstrate ability to control buoyancy\nAttaching sidemount cylinders while\n\nOut of water\nOn surface standing on bottom\nOn surface in water to deep to stand\n\n\nAt depth\n\nPerform gas switches\nPerform safety stops\n\n\n\n  \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nThe Scuba Gear You Use\nStudents MUST have their own Sidemount Scuba Kit.\nWe have all the leading Sidemount Kits in stock.\nYour Sidemount Instructor will show you the various options\, help you select\, and properly fit and configure your sidemount set up. \nYou’ll train with your Sidemount scuba diving equipment. \nHere is how it works: \n\nComplete the comprehensive elearning course at your own pace – online or offline.
