SUMMARY:Drysuit - October 25th
DESCRIPTION:Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places\, more often. This suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable\, even in surprisingly cold water. \nWant to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable\, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas\, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places\, more often. \nWhat You Learn: \nThe first thing you’ll discover is which dry suit style and accompanying undergarments are right for you and the diving you’ll do. Then you’ll learn how to take care of your dry suit. During two dives\, in addition to a confined water dive\, you’ll practice: \n– Putting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance.\n– Mastering buoyancy control using your dry suit.\n– Dive safety procedures when using a dry suit.

SUMMARY:Wreck Specialty - October 20th
DESCRIPTION:Sunday October 20th on the Markum and Hyde \nThe Carolina Coast is one of the premier Ship Wreck diving location. We are known as the GRAVE YARD OF THE ATLANTIÇ.  Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery\, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course will allow you to master the dive skills needed to safely dive the wide variety of ShipWrecks we dive. \n  \nThe Wreck Diver Specialty Certification provides one of the 5 specialties you need to achieve the coveted Master Diver Rating. \nThere are many different types of wrecks\, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks. During four dives you’ll learn: \n\nSafety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.\nSurveying and mapping a wreck.\nUsing penetration lines and reels to guide exploration.\nTechniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.\n\nPADI Wreck Diver Certification require 4 dives. These dives can be completed on two of our Carolina Coast Dive Charters. \nFor  Wreck Diver we recommend the Charleston Tug\, Hyde\, Markum\, Brian Davis and BP25. These charters provide the environments you need to practice and master all of your Wreck Diver skills. They are also shallow enough (less than 100 Feet) so you get plenty of bottom time to practice your Wreck Skills. \n  \nHere is how it works: \nWreck Diver tuition is $299 and includes: \n\neLearning Academics\n Knowledge Review with your Instructor\nFour Wreck Training Dives with one of our Instructors (Charter cost not included.)\nPADI Certification Processing Fee\nIssuing your Wreck Diver  Certification eCard\nLots of Fun

SUMMARY:Markum & Hyde - October 19th
DESCRIPTION:Hyde: It was built in 1945 in Wilmington Delaware and saw service in Atlantic\, Pacific and Honolulu. \nIt’s primary function was to keep waterways open for Naval ship traffic. Because the Hyde was constructed during WWII it was one of a few dredges outfitted with guns\, armor\, and a gun crew. \nToday the Hyde sits upright in 85ft of water 18 miles from Masonboro inlet. It was sunk by NC Division of Marine Fisheries in 1988. The deck is around 65-70 ft. \n  \nMarkham: Sunk in the fall of 1995\, Sitting on her side in 80′ of water\, her massive hull stretches to within 40 feet of the surface. The Markham has shown many of us how fast the ocean can make art of iron. Marine life including schools of bait fish\, amber jack\, mackerels and barracuda\, as well as the occasional Sand Tiger Shark\, make this dive a must-see!! \n  \n  \nNumber of Dives on This Charter: 2 \nCharter Cost: $130 \nLE — Less Experienced: Open Water Certified with less than 10 North/South Carolina boat dives. \nDivers can earn their Advanced Open Water Certification or Wreck Specialty Certification on this dive charter. \n  \nReserve your seat with a $50 deposit or call at (919) 341-2787. \n

SUMMARY:Markum & Hyde - Wednesday August 20th 9:00 am departure
\n  \nReserve your seat with $50 deposit or T call at (919) 341-2787. \n
