Rescue Diver

Friday Summer Series Class – Free Air Tank Rentals or Air Fills for all participants on both days of class.

The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you techniques to avoid and manage problems and improve your confidence as a diver. During the course you’ll become a better buddy by enhancing your ability to identify potential problems and by practicing dive emergency protocols. The subject is serious but the training is fun. Many divers tell us the PADI Rescue Diver course was their favorite!

Prerequisites: To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be:
– Be 12 years or older
– Be a PADI Adventure/Advanced Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
– Have completed the PADI Emergency First Response CPR and First Aid Course or similar, within the past two years

Required Gear:

• Standard scuba gear (Regulators, BCD, Weights, Tanks)
• PADI Rescue Slates
• Pocket Mask

PART II: PADI RESCUE DIVER PRACTICAL TRAINING 

Join your PADI Instructor for two fun-packed days of hands-on training scenarios designed to make you a better dive buddy, improve your confidence, and develop your emergency response skills.

EXTEND YOUR LEARNING: ADD EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER – $135

Adding Emergency Oxygen Provider to the PADI Rescue Diver course will teach you how and when to administer emergency oxygen. The additional eLearning and hands-on training teach you how to assemble an oxygen unit and administer oxygen.
